My response to the 2019-nCoV

It is March 19th 2020 as I write this. We all know of the major 2019-nCoV economic and health effects. It is the biggest news on earth. As individuals, we each vary in how we respond. Based on what I deem admissible evidence, plus my unique feelings, my livelihood, location, network, and financial status, my response is outlined here.

First, behavior. Before this problem was in Seattle, I was very social (over 80 visitors to my home from November 2018 to March 2020). Now, social distance rules. No more guests in my home. No more hugging or handshakes. No more travel. No attending events. No more shopping at grocery stores; now food is from my pantry, freezer, mail-order or foraged. Caution when touching door knobs. Wearing gloves usually. Washing hands often. More talking on the telephone. Having no visitors, I go to bed earlier --more sleep is healthier. Also, not eating out or entertaining at home, I ingest fewer calories from both food and alcohol. The food I eat is healthier. I previously went each month to a pharmacy; now it is mail-order (which incidentally saves time and money).

Second, boosting my immune system's ability to deal with disease. I drink more water, especially after it is filtered in my Berkey water filter. Adequate hydration being healthier, I use a Honeywell humidifier to aim for 60% humidity in my living room. Daily, I eat a teaspoon of organic black elderberries; a teaspoon of organic raw, unfiltered honey; extra 1,000 mg. of vitamin C; spirulina almost daily; bio-active silver hydrosol colloidal silver solution almost daily. The preceding is in addition to my pre-existing dietary and supplementation habits --which were healthier than average. Plus, I asked my acupuncture doctor Dirk Hein to treat me so as to maintain a strong immune system.

Third, financial matters. I save money from neither eating out nor entertaining at home. When doing mail-order, I use promotions and sales. Not ever having used online banking, one Monday morning at opening time I was at my credit union, wearing gloves, to transfer much money from savings to checking, and withdraw ample currency. I previously went to my credit union almost weekly to deposit checks; now, I mail them. Also, though my income up to this date is unaffected, in case the government later prohibits non-essential activity, I am inclined to hold onto the $7,000 that I had intended for my Roth IRA contribution. And I will favor more urgent client jobs rather than treating them all as equal. At the moment, 17 clients are on my To Do list.

Fourth, psychologic health. Looking at the bright side helps. Way less traffic! It being spring, there is a daily increase in edible plants to forage, more flowers, and lengthening days, which cheers me. My edible houseplants book gets more time. Many neighbors, friends, and a few clients, being worse off in varied ways, I appreciate the good fortune that my livelihood is unaffected largely, rather than being one devastated by the social distancing rules. I was fortunate to have prepared months ago rather than panicking at the last minute, even though my preparation was for any unforeseen disruption (such as earthquake, volcanic eruption, economic collapse, bad health, riots) rather than for this specific virus. Brace for the worst and hope for the best.

April 1st UPDATE. Learning that zinc will help against viral infections, I plan to buy some, plus eat more zinc-rich foods. Finding that mail-order food delivery is becoming less simple, due to dwindling supplies and increasing demand, I am now willing to visit certain small Seattle grocery stores, if I wear my mask and gloves, and shop when almost no one else is present.

July 29th UPDATE. An overwhelming amount of evidence points to, beyond a reasonable doubt, an active campaign of information suppression. The "party line" doctrine of "credible" health news is ubiquitous in mainstream media; alternative therapies and counter findings are censored at worse, or downplayed at best. Why? At least for powerful financial interests, at worst as a means to increase control over individuals, and to discourage questioning and disagreement of authority. As a result of this situation, and the political actions taken in response to CoVid-19 fear, our economy is crippled, government and private debt skyrocketing, personal stress increasing, societal ties decreasing, and in one word --Trouble. The disease itself, viewed dispassionately and objectively, is not in fact as bad as it has been portrayed. Prophylactic (preventive) steps, and treatment measures exist, are simple and low-cost. Despite this, it appears the money interests and/or lust for power and control causes WHO, NIH, FDA, CDC and the like, to use mainstream media to cover-up that a low doze of hydroxychloroquine, zinc and azithromycin, are viable cures. Inasmuch as I have been prescribed hydroxychloroquine since 2005, and I take zinc supplements, plus in general eat healthy, exercise often, and stress seldom, I have zero worry about CoVid-19. My concern is the cover-up. Alternative scientific voices are being silenced, yet not with 100% effectiveness. You can watch a 48 minute video of a Washington, D.C., press conference held by America's Frontline Doctors discuss what I have just outlined in this update:

www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/07/27/facebook-censors-viral-video-of-doctors-capitol-hill-coronavirus-press-conference (Facebook-censors-viral-video-of-doctors-capitol-hill-coronavirus-press-conference)

If you prefer, write-off / dismiss the alternative doctors and me. Millions of people viewed the video before Facebook and other powers censored it. I am compelled to share my findings and opinions, which is what I have been doing for decades.

December 31st UPDATE. I now socialize inside, mask-free yet across the room, with one person at a time (or with one couple who lives together). Outside, I do not wear a mask. It is vital for sound social health and effective communication that we see each other in person, smile, and share life, rather than cower in isolated fear. Obviously, I refer to the majority of individuals, for whom the effects of the disease, if they get infected, will be minor. Yes, a minority of people catching the disease get very ill or even die. One can make the same observation about the vaccines, perhaps, although at this writing too little data exist. My choice is to continue to lead a healthy lifestyle, and avoid the vaccines. I find people vary over the whole spectrum in their responses to this situation. Some friends are ultra-cautions about exposure to possible infection, and refuse to leave their homes but for unavoidable matters. Other people will visit me outside only. A minority are comfortable, one at a time, visiting in person, sharing food and drink like old times --yet without hugs, and trying to stay farther apart inside. This month, I have had six such visitors. Seven, if we count that I gave my Manager a couple of sips of my home-made liqueurs.
March 2021 UPDATE. Both the Moderna and Pfizer formulations contain polyethylene glycol, an ingredient that causes a significant percent of injected individuals to suffer adverse side effects. This unpleasant fact is downplayed by the mainstream media. If you desire to learn more I suggest you visit the website of Dr. Sherri Tenpenny (www.drtenpenny.com)
